Space Settlement: Pioneers is a real-time 2D space MMOG. It is a basic game with basic mouse controls.

Setting

After you log into the game, you are born on a random planet at a random settlement colony. You are put into a bio chamber which accelerates your physical development. When you come out, you are trained, and given basic tasks depending on your experience. You are given an average amount of money and you owe allegiance to the settlement you are in. A settlement has certain needs, and you can earn money filling those needs.

Playing

Once you have enough money, you may decide to buy things and move out of your parents apartment. You may decide to get a job as a waiter/waitress at a restaurant, or you may wish to join the military as a fighter pilot. You may decide to work for a package delivery company, or become a mechanic's apprentice and fix things. Time goes a little bit faster than in real life, so jobs will be much easier, but you may still have to go to work at certain times and leave at certain times. There are only a few long-term activities, so you can log out whenever you want.
